Customer Relationship Management

YourSites allows you to associate customer information to your sites and perform customer centric analysis of your sites. Examples of what you might want to do are:
  • Keep track of invoices due and paid
  • Keep a record of client conversations
  • Track deadlines and project stages

1. Specify Joomla User as Site Owner or Associated Client Article


You can specify a Joomla user as the owner of the site (if your customers have accounts on your YourSites server) or you can create client articles with key information about your clients e.g. telephone numbers etc. Choose the mapping type ont the CRM tab of the YourSites config
When editing a site select the mapping towards the bottom of the first tab.

If you use client articles you can access the detail directly from the 'person' icon in the list of site information icons

If you have specified owners for each site then you can filter the list of sites by ownership

2. Client Specific Views

You can create client information menu items using the custom menu item system - there is an Custom Menu Items in YourSites. The following screenshots will give a quick reminder

3. Allow SQL Custom Field Filters

You can create custom fields for YourSites site entries enable filtering on these values

4. Custom Fields To Track Progress etc.

You can create special custom fields for tracking project progress etc. using the special YourSites multi field custom field. Here is an example of such a field being configured

You can update your site status by editing the site entry
